GLEANINGS FROM CHRISTMAS 3

John 1:1-4; Col 2:3,9-10; 2Pet 1:3-4

The Christmas season is still in the air and we still have to maximise all that we can from the lessons from the season even as we look at the 'boxing day'. From research, thr true origin of boxing day has not been confirmed but the concept seems to be quite clear.

The concept springs from the fact that the box where various people have placed their gifts of xmas for the needy is broke open on the day after Christmas so that the gifts can be distributed to those in need of same.

As much as I know that this particular style isn't so much in vogue in our days but the concept seems so real and practical to me. As I look at this concept, I believe that one of the reasons why we are glad to celebrate Christ is because He broke open the box that contained His true self, grace, gifts, potentials and talents. He did not allow them to remain hidden within him. The scripture revealed that all of God was in Christ in the humand body (Col 2:9 TLB). Within Him (his box) lies all the treasures of wisdom, power and knowledge.

God gives potentials to us so that we can fulfil purpose. Potential to me simply means potent but untapped. Jesus was able to discover, develop and deploy His potentials because He was able to discover His purpose on the earth. He revealed His discovery in Luke 4:18-21 where He highlighted what He has been anointed and appointed to do on the earth. He did all He could to break the box open and deployed all He carried little wonder He shouted 'It is finished' on the cross as He gave up the ghost. It means to me that He was saying, the box is empty; the contents of the box is now finished.

As we celebrate Christ, I began to ask myself if I would also be able to declare that the contents of the box I carry is empty. I questioned myself to really know if I am following the path of God's purpose which is even dependent on if I have discovered it. The potentials I carry in my box are meant to be released on the path of purpose for the fulfilment of destiny, the betterment of mankind and utmostly to the glory of God.

Christmas is all about the celebration of the purpose for which Christ was born and also reflect on how we are fulfilling our purpose in Christ. How would you be celebrated on your next birthday? What forms the basis of your celebration on your birthdays? What would you like to remember your birthday for even after you have left the earth? Are you ready to break open the box of your true self and release all the potent but untapped grace that God has given you by release of Christ's birth, death and ressurrection?

Today as we celebrate another boxing day, I charge you to break open the box within you as you connect with your being deep within to tap into all the resources therein. Ask that God who has placed them there would open your eyes to see them so that you can unveil them. Above all, place priority on discovering the purpose for which you were send to earth. Everything you do from now should be done on the path and in the pursuit of Divine purpose.

Prayers: ♍Y̶̲̅ Father, please sharpen ♍Y̶̲̅ spirit senses and help me to be connected to Your Spirit and help me to be receptive the voice of Your Spirit for the discovery of the purpose for which I was born on earth. Also, please help me live ♍Y̶̲̅ life such that ♍Y̶̲̅ box would be empty when I am gone to be with You. Amen!

God is a God of principles and His Kingdom on earth is governed by and it is those know,  understand and apply these principles aright who become principals in their world. One of the working principles of this kingdom is the Law of Seedtime and Harvest. In view of this,  we must know that the present state of our lives is the harvest of seeds sown into our lives and spaces either by us or others. To change our future reality,  we must begin to sow the right seeds of God's Word that represent the future that God has revealed to us by His Spirit and from His Words. 

In response to prayer, many of us expect that God should always show up in spectular ways to prove that He has heard our prayers. The principle of God's kingdom is such that God gives seeds to the sower and bread to the eater. Jesus however noted that Man shall not leave by bread alone but by every word that proceed from the mouth of God. The Seed that God gives in response to prayer is the revelation of His exceedingly great and precious promises which is expected to convert our souls and grant us escape from the corruption that's in the world. It is no news that when you do we orange seeds,  you will harvest an orange tree. The seed is the womb for future manifestations. 

God's desire is that we should continue the work of creation with Him. It's expected that we are to create the future we so desire by working the seeds that He gives to us in prayers and fellowship with Him. However,  the error is that many of us just go emotional with God without employing His principles to change our lives. Another principle of God's Kingdom is that man will always reap what he does in spite of prayers offered. Prayers are meant to empower, energise and catalyse principles. God is a God of principles and He doesn't break His principles for any man. 

If you desire to experience All Round Fruitfulness in your life and space, you must be ready to wait on God to receive seeds for your future in all aspects and ramifications (health, spiritual, career, finance,  business, social life, marital, ministry etc) and be ready to work the seed to fruition as you see your life align with the promises from God's Words by His Spirit.

Creative process in the kingdom can only be activated and executed by faith for without Faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith begins with the opening of one's eyes to see the light of God's Word about any circumstances or event of one's life. The purpose of this light is to quicken and strengthen us in the face of adversity, opposition, affliction and contrary events of life. The light of God's Word imparts the Spirit and life of what God wants to get done within us.

God specialises in first quickening the dead so that they can be fit for His Will. Over any issue of your life where you don't yet have God's Word, you are dead for in God's Word is life. It is the Word that proceeds from God to man that gives life and spiritual substance. Once life is being imparted, the next thing one must do is to begin to call forth those things which be not as though they were.

After the conception of God's Word in one's heart, the next thing the Holy Spirit empowers us to do is to put those words on our lips. The Book of the law revealed to us must not depart from our lips. Confession of God's Woes precedes manifestation of God's Works. To confess in this sense doesn't mean saying what you want but what God has revealed to you to be His will that should be done on the earth.

To confess is to say the sane thing as God. Immediately the life and spirit of God's Word has been conceived in our heart, the power base has been formed within. This is what gives credence and authority to what comes out of our lips for the material universe to respond positively to our Words. God's Word imparted to our spirit by God's Spirit that's voiced from our lips carries the same authority as if God Himself is speaking. The devil honors those words just as he will honor coming directly from God's Mouth.

Know that if God had to speak to bring about creation, to continue the works of creation and to sustain the created universe, we also must keep speaking the Word that God gives us in and out of season. We are not permitted to speak what we feel about our circumstances or what we see with our natural eyes but we must keep speaking what God says.

What happens when we begin to speak boldly is that God's arm becomes outstretched to work on our behalf (Isaiah 53:1, Acts 4:28-30). God's Word spoken in faith by God's man permits the arm of God to be revealed on the earth for signs and wonders. More so, angels of God are released to effect the commands of God from our lips. Angels responds to the voice of God's word spoken by God's men on earth. Wherever God's angels hear God's word voiced by God's men, they spring into action.

Faith involves speaking as if it is so even when it is not so so that it can be so because it is already so for God said so.

UNDERSTANDING GOD'S CREATIVE PATTERN 5

The Word Perspective is key to understanding Spiritual realities. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion and view of life but it is only as we align with Divine views of people, places, possessions and circumstances that we set ourselves aright to see the power of God move in our sphere. God Himself stated boldly His thoughts differs from our thoughts and His ways differs greatly from our ways. It speaks of perspective. Revelation of God's Word is seeing things, people and events from God's perspective and this requires the opening of the eyes of our understanding.

The Christian life is characterized by seeing what God sees the way God sees same, thinking what God thinks, saying what God says and doing what God has done the way He wants it done by and through us. His perspectives however simple is not simplistic but superior to every other view and perspective formed by human minds.

However, this Divine perspective is not just revealed to us for us to know but to act on same. It is to determine our course of activities. There is a system of the world: the way they think, speak, act and do things but we have been instructed not to be conformed to this world's system but to be renewed by the Spirit acting on the revelation of Divine perspectives and systems.

To produce power, we must receive these truths as our own. We must set our heart to believe this Divine perspective and begin to walk in the light of it. It is when you believe the report (perspective) of God about a matter that you can see His arm of grace and power revealed to you in that matter. Believing God's verdict about a person, place, people and circumstances makes Divine power available within you for a change of story.

Accepting Divine truths is different from believing and receiving them. Acceptance is agreeing with the fact, it is mental assent to the fact of the Truths that you have learnt. Receiving the truths is allowing the light of the truths to penetrate through your mind to your heart; dislodging darkness and infusing the life of that life into you. When this happens, power has been deposited into you; the substance of the very thing that God wants to do has been deposited into one's heart. This substance is the power base for the manifestation of God's Agenda on earth.

Faith begins with receiving the revelation of Divine perspectives and believing same in one's heart with a strong expectation of seeing nature submit to God.

Read John 1:1, Hebrews 11:3, Colossians 1:9-11, Isaiah 55:9-10, 1Cor 2:9-10, Matthew 16: 13-20

After Creation, as far as the earth is concerned, God has decided to involve man in His continuing creative work on the earth. He conceives His plans in His heart and communicates same to the man on the earth who can be trusted, whose capacity has been capacity to handle it and who spend quality time in the place of communion with Him.

Every Kingdom agenda on the earth begins with a thought in the heart of God and not just a good thought in the heart of a man. Hence, the need to always wait on God to receive His plans for you morning by morning. Not all good thoughts are God's thoughts. It may be good and not right. Many speakers have preached thinking Big above hearing God. Thinking big without the God factor is setting out for a big failure.

There is no big thought anywhere without the Big God involved. God is the Almighty God who is bigger than the biggest. Every thought that emanates from Him will always be definitely bigger than you and even your mind even when it seemingly appears to be small in your sight.

The error of the present day Christianity is that we have been made to believe that we can just go into the scriptures and look for scriptures that fits into our own agenda and start to run with it instead of submitting our will and desires to God and pleading with Him to grant us the revelation of His Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. The foundation of our Christian faith is the revelation of God's will and agenda into our hearts by His Spirit within us. Until His will is known, True faith cannot be born and without faith, no man can please God.

Our Master Jesus the Christ even noted that there's no rock upon which the Church can be built on the solid rock of the revelation of Christ and Christ Himself who is the Word of God personified. If the Church is built on any other foundation, it is just a matter of time before the gates of hell will be unleashed to prevail against it. When the gates of hell prevails, there will be wastages of resources and efforts and every project embarked on outside this foundation would be shaken and only the Word of God that cannot be shaken will remain.

In this partnership with God, it is God that reveals while we obey. His word and will is both the beginning and final. God's work must be done God's way by God's people in God's power using God's resources so as to achieve God's results on the earth. It is not enough to work for God but to really walk and work with Him is the ultimate. God's word is the beginning of all of God's works. He who cannot hear God speak isn't fit to work for Him. Until He commands, there's no work at all. All of His works begins with His word for in the beginning was the Word. For every project you are doing, you must be able to to refer to the Word that was given to you in the beginning which birthed it.

GOD'S CREATIVE PROCESS 3

Genesis 1:26-29; Col 1:26-29

From the last two articles on this series, I have noted that God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and He created man to continue the works of creation with Him on the earth. We were created to become co-creators with God on the earth and God is always delighted when He sees us taking our rightful place as such. I furthermore emphasized that to be a co-creator with God is to be in an active humble partnership with Him where He leads as the Master and we follow Him solely. In this partnership, God's word and will is both the beginning and the final.

We introduced the slight adjustment in the creative process when God's man on the earth was brought into the creative process. Instead of the normal Conception and Confession into manifestation scheme, He decided to create man in His image and after His likeness. This is exactly what qualified man to be a partner with God on the earth.

To be created in God's image speaks of God creating us with His nature and character. It means that the very essence of His person was replicated within us and that the life of His Spirit was infuses into us so that we can be who He wants us to be and to be able to have fellowship with Him. However, to be created after His likeness is to be able to function in line with His Modus Operandi. It implies that we have the capacity to produce results in the order of God if we follow His mode of operations for productivity on the earth.

To be created in His image speaks of His person, nature and character. To be creates after His likeness speaks of His working principles and competence. To be created in His image and after His likeness simply means we have been created and wired to be who God wants us to be and to do what He demands from us so that we can have what He has promised to us on the earth.

Due to this excellent design and make up of man and God's great Love to man, He decided that to include man in my continued creative process on the earth, instead of confessing and declaring my Words into direct manifestation on the earth, I will look for My man (available for Me, with a perfect and stable heart) on the earth and plant the seed of My thoughts and words into Him (2Chronicles 16:9). The new process now involves God communicating what He has conceived in His heart (His agenda, plans, will and intents) to the heart of a man. It is now the responsibility of such a man to ensure the manifestation of God's desires on the earth by engaging the powers within us as one created after God's likeness.

Being created in His image empowers you for fellowship with God. It is in the place of fellowship that God releases the seed of the kingdom into your heart. Being creates after His likeness empowers you to be able to work put on the earth what God has worked into and within you by the implanted seed of His word by His Spirit.

Simply put, the original creative pattern: Conception and Confession now becomes CONCEPTION and COMMUNICATION OF THE CONCEIVED THOUGHTS INTO THE HEART OF MAN.

GOD'S CREATIVE PATTERN 2

READ: Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 55:6-9; Psalms 42:7; Rev 4:11; Isaiah 54:5

In the previous post on this subject, I established that God's creative pattern as the Almighty God involves Conception in His mind and Confessions with His Mouth. His thoughts conceived in His heart and mind  and declared with His Mouth as words are His tools for creation. However, immediately after He created man and made man a co-creator with Himself, there was a slight adjustment to this pattern so as to accommodate man in the process. It is necessary for us to pay attention to this adjustment to be able to take our place and understand God's Divine pattern for Kingdom projects.

It is good to note that after God blessed man i.e. after God empowered man by the impartation of His life and Spirit via His Word to do His Will, the first mandate from God to man is to "BE FRUITFUL". We all know that there can be no fruits without seeds. Kingdom fruits are products of several workings on and with a kingdom seed. Until the kingdom seed is planted in the heart of a man or in the earth, no kingdom fruit can be produced.

What then is this seed of the Kingdom? Jesus revealed in Luke 8:11 that the seed of the Kingdom is the Word of God. There is no other seed that can produce God's expected fruits (results) in man's life or on the earth apart from God's Word down into the heart of a man. The Word of God is God's thought coded in sound confessed by God to produce results or communicated as seeds into a man's heart for onward processing towards productivity.

God is the initiator and creator of the Universe. He owns the grand design of the whole universe and also the grand plan for every soul on the earth. No one thinks or plans for Him. He is the Master planner. His thoughts cannot be decided or determined by any being, they can only be discovered.  To be a co-creator with God is to be in humble partnership with God for the actualization of His grand thoughts and plans for the earth and not the execution of our own ambitions, desires or agenda. In this partnership, there are no two masters in the ship, it is either God is Lord of all OR not Lord at all. There's no partial sovereignty in this deal. If God is truly Lord of all in this partnership, then His will alone become final and must be done regardless of how we feel.

What then is His Will? The will of God is the sum total of His thoughts and plans for man and the universe. The Will of God is in the heart of God and only men who have access to His heart can have access to His will for them and their world per time. We do pray that God's kingdom should come. How do we know  when this kingdom come? The proof of God's kingdom come on the earth is the absolute surrender to the Lordship of God, submission to and execution of God's Will on the earth (Matthew 6:10). His will is His pleasure and that is what we are created for.

The earth is meant to be filled with His glory. The glory within God is meant to be seen on the earth. To see this dimension of glory, we must ensure that His will which is thoughts becomes our thoughts and our pursuit on the earth. Wherever His will is done, there His kingdom is, His power and His glory.
